About Our Preschool

At Willow Park Preschool, your child will learn and socialize with others in a caring and stimulating environment. Our teachers create an atmosphere that meets the individual needs of each child within a group setting. Willow Park Preschool is community-driven and parent run.  As a parent cooperative, it is designed to allow you, the parent, the opportunity to participate in your child's learning.

We have found that our school works well for parent(s) working outside of the home as well as for at-home parents. We welcome grandparents and caregivers to participate in the classoom and to join our field trips.

What we can offer your child

Willow Park Preschool offers morning and afternoon classes for children ages 3 to 5.  Our 4 year old program has a longer class time as part of our program for Kindergarten readiness. We offer your child:

  • an opportunity to socialize
  • an opportunity for both structured and unstructured play in each class
  • a low student/teacher ratio
  • educational field trips
  • an opportunity to develop skills in preparation for kindergarten
  • most of all an opportunity to have fun!

 

What we can offer parents

We offer you the opportunity to grow with your child in your community. Our preschool encourages parents to actively participate in and be a part of their child's learning. As a parent, you can participate by:

  • assisting periodically as a class "helper" 
  • bringing a healthy snack when you are helping in the classroom
  • joining the class for field trips
  • helping to make decisions for the school at our parent meetings
  • serving on our Parent Board
